Day of Silence
First Day of Silence recapđź’—
It was a beautiful day 🙏
I am grateful for everyone that showed up. It’s not always easy to do. It’s not always easy to make this work a priority. But it’s so important. Our lives depend on it.
We came together.
We sat.
We moved.
We breathed.
We created.
We imagined.
We dreamed.
We had delicious, amazing food.
The soup stole the show ha
We balanced.
We healed.
We restored.
We noticed what’s always there that we may not have time for.
We created community.
We prayed.
We laughed.
We shared.
We cried.
It was my absolute honor to facilitate. Nothing is more important to me than safety. Creating real, safe authentic spaces for us to literally and actually and completely and wholly take off our damn masks.
We are sprinkling these things into our lives.
We are shifting from these being things we do or go to to these things being who we are. At our core.
We are learning to focus on what we are doing and not what we’re not doing.
We are open, we are brave, we are so fucking beautiful and most lovingly brutally honest with ourselves.
We are honoring stillness and silence inside ourselves for our most high self.
The ultimate hallelujah.
Extra special amazing thanks to Nick Rojowski @heyrojo - he’s a logistical wizard and sorcerer of making things happen. I have the ideas he helps make them reality. I love you and you’re willingness. It’s amazing.
Allison Harris @omhome1122 for your vision and intention in creating Om Home as such a beautiful and amazing space but also in everything you do. It’s truly inspiring.
Looking forward to more.
